I am literally watching this show to see what happens because there is no possible way I can guess my way through it. The preview is my only hint, which spells misfortune for everyone and most pressingly for Suk-woo who has an accident while driving due to his failing eyesight. My question is, what was he doing driving with failing eyesight?
Last time, Tae-hee tried to forget Si-hyun and continue on with her life, but one drunken excursion at Se-ju’s restaurant left her babbling like as fool at how much she loves and misses Si-hyun and wants to at least change her name to his so she can hear it. Se-ju called Si-hyun up to come get your girl and Si-hyun came running right away. Cut to one drunken piggyback ride later and we have Tae-hee telling Si-hyun to just hold onto her a little bit longer.
A lot of angst is sure to come this episode. Si-hyun broke up with Tae-hee in one of the rudest ways, he may as well have toasted to their breakup while he was at it. But he had motives behind it. He knows he has to distance himself from Tae-hee because his mother may have been the driver involved in the hit-and-run accident all those years ago. But he also wants to find out who his father is dating and Suzy won’t tell him unless he finishes their bet strong. So, to Si-hyun he figured he may as well kill two birds with one stone. We shall see if Tae-hee goes away quietly though.
I’ve stopped trying to guess what is going to happen in this show because my guesses are always way way off. Let’s just see what happens. What we do know is that Si-hyun and Tae-hee are happily off to take a train to draw a building; Suzy’s mother, Mi-ri, is catching heat from aggressive protesters regarding the new drug that is about to come out; and Si-hyun’s father, Suk-woo, might be losing his vision, so he wants to spend all the rest of his eyesight looking at Tae-hee’s mother, Young-won. Only Young-won just found out that Suk-woo is about to get married to Mi-ri and wants nothing to do with him. What a tangled web we weave.
(Whoops, wrong episode number, just fixed it!) The world of Si-hyun and Suzy is crumbling while Tae-hee’s looks like it is moving along swimmingly. In this case, I would say that the plan to destroy Tae-hee didn’t much fail as it never really had a chance to begin with because this group of friends interwoven and dysfunctional lives are basically preventing them from messing with anyone else’s. Hopefully they get it together in this episode.
Late start today, but I am really looking forward to watching this episode since SW basically got dumped last time.
Looks like we are about to have another kiss from our main duo, and in the water no less. Whose betting that Suzy is going to walk in and ruin all the fun?
I’m ready for some hijinks and some awkwardly seductive moments now that Tae-hee is living with Si-hyun. Speaking of which, that was fast. Does anyone think that she will find her own place? I hope at least one episode is spent with her trying to find her own place and Si-hyun trying to keep her at his.
It looks like Tae-hee is falling for Si-hyun all episode today. At the same time, SH’S father, Suk-woo is wooing Tae-hee’s mom, Young-won. I have to admit, Tae-hee was a pretty easy conquer. Or maybe they will switch something up where she is about to start liking him but then he does something or she overhears something and puts her guards back up? I’m going to believe that for now.
Okay, here is our first live recap (technically an aftercap) of The Great Seducer! We’ll see how it goes because they talk a lot in this show, so I’m a bit intimidated. But if we could do it with Hwayugi and Waikiki then we should be able to do it with this one as well.
