Dong-hoon might actually become a Director y’all. I think even getting nominated for the position is more than what happened in the last 15+ years of working for that company, I can see why everyone is excited for him. This also makes me think that the writer might have big plans for Dong-hoon at the company. Perhaps even CEO at some point? He has to hop over this first hurdle first.
Well, it looks like My Ajusshi has a lot of controversy hounding it, so the actors and PD of the drama held a press conference at Seoul Times Square Amoris Hall to address it all.
The drama keeps unfolding in lovely ways as motives crystalize and untruths and truths are uncovered. It looks like Wang has his eye on Dong-hoon as the potential next CEO of the company. At least, that is the impression I got from the last episode. Did anyone else see something different? I would love for that to happen.
We left off with My Ajusshi with Dong-hoon finding his way to the campsite and seeing Joon-young there with Wang. Wang immediately recognized him and Dong-hoon walked up to them with all three in the screenshot at once. But we had to wait until today to find out what happens!
Is everyone ondering what will happen on the street with Dong-hoon and his wife? Because I am. I have a feeling that Dong-hoon won’t bring up anything serious right at that moment though. He seems like the kind of person that will keep it in until he can’t keep it in any longer.
We left off with Ji-ahn feeling an emotional connection with Dong-hoon. How he described being able to anything, even kill someone, if they hurt his family member cut right to Ji-ahn’s heart, because she did just that when Guang-il’s father was attacking her grandmother. But, will this change everything with her plan to get DH fired? Will she switch alliances? She still needs another $10k, perhaps her and her techie friend can just voice-fish a few dozen people and call it a day.
Okay, so yesterday we expected My Ajusshi to start on time and missed a bit of the beginning when it turned out that they started early (we filled it in later). Their start time is not consistent, so if you are live watching, be sure to tune in extra early.
My Ajusshi definitely captured my attention at the end of the last episode. I am hooked on what is going to happen. Just for a recap, the gist of the last two episodes is that Ji-ahn has a debt to pay to Guang-il and is working with the CEO to earn the money by getting Director Park and Dong-hoon fired. She will get $10,000 each.
Here is our My Mister / My Ajusshi music list! We will post all OST’s here, as well as background music found in the drama, as the drama airs. The background music is mostly comment based, so if you have a question on a song played in a cafe, car, or anywhere in the drama, ask away! If we don’t know it, hopefully someone else in the community knows it.
The first episode of My Mister set up the main characters lives…and they are all depressing. But this show is about two people lifting each other up so maybe it’s all up from here? Pretty please? One thing I am interested in is this company plot that Dong-hoon is accidentally caught in the middle off, which is surprising because I normally could care less about company machinations. However, in this case I am very intrigued.
