We left off on the last episode with our team of heroes putting clues together to find out where Soo-ji is. I personally love how they just barged into Soo-ho’s uncles workplace and put the CCTV video in, that was just hilarious. What was even more hilarious than that was the uncle response when what was on the screen came up. Let’s find out!
I really think this episode of Unexpected Heroes is where our smooth talking hero, Joon-young will get to use his powers for the greater good. So far he has just been dragged along with Yoon-ji solving her mystery case and he didn’t even help when they did find the robber. But now his beau is missing and you best believe he will be all over this case.
I love how the problem solving our heroes are encountering is very grounded in reality. It doesn’t feel fake or artificial in the way they are solving the problems, or even in the way that they are introduced to the problems. Yoon-ji is definitely more interested in solving this mystery than the other two heroes are though. I wonder if it will come back to bite her in the butt.
With our last episode of Accidental Heroes, we found out that the Joon-young has possibly two weaknesses. One is that his heart beats fast around Yoon-ji or women in general, and two is that his heart beats fast when dreaming about the murder mystery that brought our team together in the first place.
In the last episode of Unexpected Heroes, we left off after establishing where our heroes will be living and with our heroes figuring out what powers they all have (and at least one heroes weakness). For some reason Joon-young’s heart beats fast whenever he is around Yoon-ji, or perhaps whenever he is around any girl, which I would consider a potential weakness. It will be hard to rescue a girl if your heart goes crazy every time you are around one, amirite?
Hello Loves! We left off on the last Unexpected Heroes at the high school where our new heroes are going to school. The three all arrive at the school at the exact same time and the episode cut off at that point. Today I am assuming that our three students will get to know each other and find out about their individual gifts. Let’s get into it.
We are doing something new over here which are web drama recaps. We really liked doing the Last Minute Romance web drama recap back in October/November of 2017, so we thought we would continue web drama recapping in 2018 with whatever web dramas strikes our fancy. We settled on Unexpected Heroes (or Accidental Heroes) as our first web drama of the New Year. So far, this drama is pretty cute and well shot. Cinematography gets me every time, y’all.
This was a very cute web drama that ended just as adorably as it began. The title is a take on the super successful Answer Me franchise with Answer Me 1997, Answer Me 1994, and Answer Me 1988. This one is bitter sweet though because it is wishful thinking. I had a fun time watching this series and I look forward to the next web drama!
I looooooooove the title of this episode because I saw The Last Scandal of My Life and it was sooooo good. I didn’t think I would like that drama as much as I did because the protagonists were much older than me and we had drastically different lives, but I loved it. It was so good. If fact, I think I should rewatch it.
Y’all, this episode ending had me reaching for the like button, DJ is the best in it and goes against what the typical male lead would do. Though it is another episode where I am at a loss for the drama that it relates to. The tile is either Sympathetic Love or Love with Sympathy. I don’t know, I’m at a loss. This episode is great though! I was so ready to watch episode 9 after finishing this one. The ending basically makes you trip over yourself to get to the next episode!
