Mu-han is pretty upset at Soon-jin and she can’t figure out for the life of her why. But she isn’t the kind of person that will just take that ish and has her own way of dealing with Mu-han. I love that about Soon-jin and I am also happy that the angst didn’t last long. But word is getting out about MH’s health so I am hesitant to think that his condition will remain a secret for much longer.
Okay, here is our first live recap (technically an aftercap) of The Great Seducer! We’ll see how it goes because they talk a lot in this show, so I’m a bit intimidated. But if we could do it with Hwayugi and Waikiki then we should be able to do it with this one as well.
It is the last week of Radio Romance! I feel like we have so many things to address and only 2 hours to do it in. We left off with Gu-rim finding out that Ji Su-ho is not Woo Shi-woo. Awkward! Ji Su-ho has some explaining to do, so I feel like a lot of heartfelt conversations and flashbacks will abound in this episode. Possibly even some single tear droplets?
They wrap up the island in the beginning part of this episode, JI finally starts to believe KD’s paranormal abilities a little bit, and we delve a little deeper into the money that funds all the crazy. In addition, JI finds out that all the cult things happen around a certain time, and that time is nigh.
I almost didn’t use that above picture because it just feels like there is something so scandalous about two unmarried people kissing out in the open in Joseon. Even though they are only kissing, that is basically like knocking boots in that era. I am pretty shocked that we got this kiss IN PUBLIC, but I am very happy that it happened. We had a confession of love on both sides and Hwi was going through the motions of setting up the wedding. If only that declaration of war didn’t ruin the mood.
Okay, I was way off with the halbae, it looks like he is still alive. I really thought he might be a ghost that only JM could see so yeah, I was way, way off. I mean I guess it could still be true? We shall see. I am enjoying this show, though. It isn’t for everyone and it actually wouldn’t be for me normally, but for some reason I really like it right now.
Wow, this show just gets better and better. It was moving along nicely before this point, but the episode just sets it off! Everything happens this episode to the point were I am kind of wondering what more things will be revealed. The ending was so good! SO GOOD. For everyone who is watching this drama (who can find this drama) I would love to know what you think about it because it seems like this viewership is so tiny due to Netflix having the sub license. Netflix is releasing each episode a week late in some countries, but I am not sure how they are treating it in the US. I tried looking it up on Netflix, but I didn’t see it there. On Demand Korea also has the episodes.
Yep, that girl up and jumped right into a lake with her hand held up so someone will save her. Or perhaps she was waving bye-bye to the world? Whatever the case, she has definitely set the stage for dying for her beliefs so I expect a lot of turmoil when a decision does not go the way she wants it to go. Case in point, her impending wedding (from episode 1). I have a feeling she is not going to just let that happen.
I feel like we have to much show left, yet we only have 3 episodes to go. When did we get here? It really felt like yesterday’s episode was setting us up for Tae-wook to be the man that met with Kevin Lee that night. But I feel like that is too easy of a give, there has to be something else going on!
Live is realism at its finest. This drama is so real, that it feels like a documentary. But it’s beautifully shot so it feels like a movie. But the characters are so quiet and well thought out that it feels like a novel. Speaking of novels, does anyone else see that something is just not right with the Halbae that Ahn Jang-mi talks to? If what we think is right, then we believe we are going to step from realism right into magical realism of the Gabriel Garcia Marquez variety. I would love that so much, so hopefully it happens.
